Centreplace quartet

Centreplace quartet hails from the city of Hamilton in the Waikato region of New Zealand. This quartet blends Waiata Māori, R&B, and Soul with the artistry of barbershop harmony. With voices that honor both tradition and innovation, the group proudly represents Waikato on the international stage, sharing their passion for both the artform and cultural legacy with friends and family both old and new.

Members:

● Natassja – Tenor

● Karma – Lead

● Keegan – Baritone

● Harley – Bass

Centreplace’s strong connection to Manu Mātātahi, a barbershop chorus dedicated to uplifting Mātauranga Māori through harmony, further deepens their commitment to showcasing Indigenous customs, language, and musical traditions. With three of the four members singing in Manu Mātātahi, their performances not only entertain but also celebrate the rich storytelling and musical identity of Te Ao Māori.

Our goals: Meet our heroes, make connections, represent our Māori (Mah-o-di), Filipino and Pākehā (Paah-keh-hah) heritage and show our people back home that no matter who you are or where you’re from, you can make big dreams like these a reality.
