Stockholm City Voices (SCV) was founded in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1978. Today, the chorus consist of around 55 singers. From the beginning, SCV has been a part of international barbershop organization Sweet Adelines’ Nordic region, and there have been a lot of great moments on the competition stage. In recent years (until the pandemic paused competition), Stockholm City Voices has qualified for and competed at the Sweet Adelines International Convention several times, each time placing top ten.
Musical creativity has always been important to this chorus, and under the direction of Master 700 Director Tindra Thor (directing the chorus since 2016), Stockholm City Voices has come out of the pandemic years as inspired as always!
